Assembly steps:
- Score PVC jacket with an X-ACTO® knife
- Peel away PVC jacket
- Cut away plastic wrapper and outer filler
- Peel and cut away foil shield and inner filler
- Install shrink tubing on 20 gauge drain wire to prevent fraying
- Install adhesive-lined shrink tube (for use later)
- Crimp terminals using Rennsteig production hand tools
- Install Delphi Metri-Pack 150 male connector (O2 sensor end) or AMP SuperSeal 1.0mm terminals (ECU end)
- Heat shrink tube to finish assembly
