This harness is for use with cam phaser (VVT) equipped Gen IV LS-Series engines when using a non-VVT engine wire harness. For example, a 5.3L Gen IV LS-Series truck engine installed into an LS3 vehicle. This harness connects to the 5 cavity harness connector at the bottom of the engine timing cover and then to the 3 cavity engine wire harness. Commonly used with the MSD 6012 6LS-2 Ignition Controller wire harness for engines originally equipped with VVT. Harness length is roughly 9 inches.
