| EFI Connection Ram Jet 350 Packages |
| EFI Connection's Ram Jet 350 engine packages are built using brand new GM engines. The long block is a brand new GM production Vortec (L31) 5.7L assembly.
These engines are rated by GM at 255 horsepower and 330 ft/lb torque; power output you would expect from a stock TPI engine. To achieve the power output of
the GM Ram Jet 350 crate engine, a camshaft and 1.6 rocker arms upgrade is required. EFI Connection's Ram Jet 350 engine packages simply require fuel,
battery power, and an ignition switch to run. Wire harness options are available to include electric fan control, air conditioning control, and much more. |

AVOIDING the MEFI 4 ECU GM bundles the MEFI 4 ECU with the Ram Jet 350 crate engine assembly (GM# 12499120). With no transmission or cruise control support, the Marine Electronic Fuel Injection (MEFI) ECU is designed for marine use and lacks many features desirable for a street driven vehicle. Finding someone to work with your vehicle to help you adjust spark or fuel calibration details is very difficult. The replacement cost of this module far exceeds the cost of sourcing an ECU found in a production GM vehicle. More than that, there is nothing the MEFI4 ECU can do that a production GM engine controller cannot do. EFI Connection avoids the MEFI4 ECU. |
|
LS1 PCM The LS1 PCM is the most supported GM engine controller that allows for single coil and distributor ignition or coil per cylinder ignition. Any dyno facility that can tune an LS1 car will be able to tune or modify your vehicle with the LS1 PCM. Because of its availability in 2001-2002 GM vehicles, EFI Connection chooses to use the GM# 12200411 PCM. This PCM supports cable throttle, electronic throttle and cruise control. Electronic transmissions (4L60E and 4L80E) are also supported from within the same PCM. |
|
E67 ECM The E67 ECM requires the use of electronic throttle. With no provision for an idle air control motor, cable throttle is not an option. Also tunable by most dyno facilities, this ECM offers compatibility with 4L60E, 4L70E, 4L80E, 6L80E, and 6L90E transmissions. Cruise control support is also built within this ECM. Electronic tap/paddle shifting for GM automatic transmissions is supported with EFI# 110-00025 tap shift interface module. |
|
T42 TCM When not using the LS1 PCM, GM's T42 transmission control module is required for all 4L60E and 4L80E transmission installations. The T42 TCM interfaces with the GM ECMs as designed for all production GM vehicles. The use of an aftermarket transmission controller is undesirable because of the added expense and wiring involved. There is really no need to use an aftermarket transmission controller when the GM PCMs and ECMs can fully support 4L60E and 4L80E transmissions. |

| This is our specialty. All EFI Connection wire harnesses are built in shop with production tooling.
By a GM engine control module, you will have more available features than many aftermarket engine controllers. When you order an EFI Connection harness, we work closely with you to determine which features are appropriate for your specific conversion. When you order an engine package, we will complete the harness on the engine for the best possible fit. Click on the images below to see the dress and fitment of our engine harnesses when purchased with an engine package. |

| Optional GM Front Serpentine Accessories |
Add installed GM serpentine front accessories for an additional $650.00 (with A/C delete pulley) or $875.00 (with A/C compressor).
GM serpentine front accessories are based on production 5.7L TPI engine equipment. All serpentine drive components are serviceable as 1992 Camaro/Firebird equipment.
Save on shipping costs by allowing us to install the front accessories on the engine. In this way we will not have to make multiple shipments.
