The billet aluminum timing covers are required when using a double row timing set. They clear PCV, breather, and oil fill holes in the valve covers. Have your own LS coils? No problem. This PCM is capable of cable or electronic throttle control, 4L60E or 4L80E transmission control, and is popular among tuners. All engine harnesses are built as they are ordered; in other words we do not typically have stock on any particular harness. Most EFI 24x conversions are using cable throttle with TPI and LT1 throttle bodies. The benefits of electronic throttle are electronic cruise control and more/faster throttle area adjustment for smoothing out idle with aggressively cammed engines. The drawback to electronic throttle is the extra expense.
